Recently I was sent a link to watch a video by our CEO, Allen. The video turned out to be 7 minutes long and, lets face it, during a busy day who has the time to watch a 7 minute video. So I turned it off and went back to work, with best intentions of watching it later. Well, several days later, after being asked if I had seen it and hearing comments about it from other co-workers I carved out the time. I’m glad I did.
This video is relevant in our industry for so many reasons. Though it pertains mostly to traditional marketing avenues, the web industry is no different. We all need to recharge our batteries and though most of us will never be able to do it quite like this guy, I’m going to try to practice it on a smaller scale. Like taking 7 minutes from my busy schedule to watch something that inspired me.
