Jennifer Austin was born in Brantford, Ontario, Canada, and like most Canadians, she is patient and persistent and just plain nice. Due to her father’s profession as a global accounts manager for advertising firms, Jennifer lived in various places growing up, including Wisconsin, England, Puerto Rico, Connecticut, and Georgia, but she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario in her native province. Jennifer completed an associate’s degree at Platt College in San Diego to learn what she describes as “the computer side of art”. Her first job after graduation in 2000 was with AldenMC.
Originally hired as a 2D and 3D animator, Jennifer’s role at AldenMC has continually expanded over the years to include conceptualization, strategic planning, story-boarding, content management and account services. In her new role as Strategic Partner she will concentrate heavily on presentations maintaining her focus on consultation and design. Jennifer says she is particularly proud of her work on behalf of The Farmers Insurance Open, CLSA, Ionis and Akcea.
“A job well done gives me the greatest satisfaction”, Jennifer says. “There’s nothing like seeing a project that has come together visually and functionally”.
